Edmonton Colonoscopy Trip

Back from a colonoscopy this week in Edmonton. Needed confirmation whether there could be cancer in my bowel as the PET scan I had in early May did illuminate an area there.  I did have a routine scope done last Sept and nothing was of concern then however the doctors wanted to confirm nothing may have been missed or perhaps changed. Thankfully the scope did not show any areas of concern there so this is good to hear.

I'm thankful for all the medical support as everyone is very nice and takes the time to explain what is going on and more than willing to answer questions and make you as comfortable as possible. Next trip to Edm will be on Monday 12 Jul for the surgery on the 13th.

I am overwhelmed by all the continuing words of support and everyone just "checking-in" with me to see how I am. Feeling strong, supported and good to go and of course none this would be possible without my biggest supporter  and love Richelle!!

Thanks again everyone for the positive thoughts, wishes and prayers. Take care everyone and have a great summer and we'll try to keep everyone up to date of the progress! Love ya All!!
